PROGRESS AND WORK CREW INFORMATION ON SITE @ 3383 HOLLAND LOOP

The next BF Meeting is Sept. 15th at 6:30pm. We will have an update from that meeting for volunteers and work coordinators.

Sept. 7th HMBF Meeting - Site work and helpers needed.

Volunteers are needed call the hotline. The Parking Field needs to be mowed. We need a large mower or several to run from 7 - 11 am.

HMBF Meeting - to do list - from August 18, 2009 (still needed)
• Next work Days = Sept 12 & 13 - 8am - 4pm, will involve constructing the stage, putting up the lodges, hanging signs, and loads of other fun stuff.
• Compost at the faire could be collected in barrels or a dump able trailer as Cord would use it elsewhere.
• Constructing a property line fence. By Friday, Sarah & Jeff should know whether we have gathered all necessary posts for fencing.
• We are looking for:
T-posts that you can lend or give to the Faire.
Square wire such as deer & orchard fencing that you can
lend or give.
• Bring pliers, fencing tools, shovels, post-hole diggers.

• Weed pulling (blackberries & knapweed, etc.)
Bring gloves, shovels, digging bar, hoedad, whatever's your preferred digger, wheelbarrow.

• Weed whacking must be done early in the morning (before 11am) or evenings. If folks want to work early Saturday, Sunday morning, this would be down-right dreamy.

• Fill in the ditch by the future site of stage. We need a tractor for that.
TO MOVE THE STAGE We need a truck jack. Look for good plywood under the stage at Paul's.

• Haul & cut up firewood.
There's some oak at Stacey & Paul's. Cord has a bunch but we will wait until Cord can show us which piles.
